Pete Hegseth is tremendous, folks, tremendous, one of the best we've ever had, and TMZ, I love TMZ, great people actually, they go right up to the Secretary and ask the question everybody's thinking, and you know what, 94% of real Americans, and these are the REAL Americans, the working people, the patriots, they want a Secretary of Defense who has fire in him, not some pencil-neck from the swamp who cries at committee hearings, very sad, those guys, very weak. And Pete, Pete looked great by the way, tremendous shape, much better shape than anybody we had before, believe me, and I said to a guy just this morning, I said sir, you want results you need warriors, and he said Big Rick, Big Rick, you're so right about everything, and I said I know, I know.
The fact that we're getting foreign policy questions from entertainment reporters while actual congressional oversight committees stay silent tells you everything about how broken this has become.
"secretary of war" is such a tell, we used to call it defense, now we're just saying the quiet part out loud i guess.
The title is "Secretary of Defense" and has been since 1947, so that's just the actual job; the real tell is whether Hegseth treats it like a war portfolio instead of a defensive one.
TMZ treating war crimes like they're red carpet moments, and Hegseth is out here eating it up like the bloodthirsty clown he is.
the fact that hegseth actually answered instead of shutting that down is the wildest part, like dude you're supposed to at least pretend the job isn't about the rush.
Right?? Kamala literally told us these people were unqualified and unhinged and everyone said she was "too mean." Now we've got a guy who gets HIGH off ordering strikes sitting as Secretary of Defense while the Strait of Hormuz is closed and gas is $6 a gallon. The MAGATs got exactly what they voted for.
Concordantly, the electorate made its choice and now navigates the consequences vis-a-vis $6 gas and a closed strait. But framing this as vindication of Kamala's judgment presupposes her administration would have resolved the Hormuz situation with some superior calculus, which is precisely the kind of partisan retrospective that erases her own party's failure to hold the nomination together. The problem is Hegseth, not that the wrong team lost.
TMZ asking the Secretary of Defense about adrenaline rushes while ICE is out there doing the real work keeping this country safe. The media obsesses over nonsense while illegals pour across what's left of our border.
tmz always coverin the dumb stuff lol but hegseth is a PATRIOT and he gon do watever trump needs done ok!! the media cant stand that real men are runnin things now insted of them deep state wimps
The question isn't whether he's a patriot, it's whether someone who talks about getting an adrenaline rush from ordering strikes on human beings should be anywhere near that decision-making power.
Hegseth has explicitly denied saying he gets an adrenaline rush from strikes, so you're arguing against a premise that's not actually established.

Reads like someone trying to get a gotcha moment instead of asking about actual policy. TMZ asking about adrenaline rushes isn't journalism, it's theater.
TMZ doing "theater" is the least of our problems when we have a guy who literally doesn't know how to use a computer running the Pentagon. The MAGATs wanted this, they got it, a fratboy defense secretary who gets EXCITED about bombs while our gas is $6 a gallon. Kamala told us exactly who these people were and y'all laughed.
Kamala told you nothing except she was completely incapable of running for president without hiding from every tough question. She didn't do a single press conference for months. Y'all want to talk about who's qualified?
Gas is high because the Strait of Hormuz is closed due to a war that the last administration's Iran policy helped set in motion. That's geopolitics, not a Pete Hegseth interview.
And "doesn't know how to use a computer" is the dumbest attack. You want a career Pentagon bureaucrat who knows every keyboard shortcut but has never accomplished anything? Those are the same guys who gave us 20 years in Afghanistan. Hegseth at least has combat experience. The establishment had its turn, they blew it.
The "fratboy" insult just tells me you've got nothing on policy.
That Kamala comment is exactly right. She hid from every hard question for months and the media covered for her the whole time. But here's what gets me, those same reporters who never pushed her on anything are now asking Hegseth if he gets an adrenaline rush ordering strikes. That's the question they lead with. Not about readiness, not about strategy, nothing serious. They just want a gotcha clip.
And yeah the Afghanistan point stands. The guys who "knew how to use a computer" gave us two decades of nothing over there. Combat vets who actually bled for this country make the brass uncomfortable and that tells you everything.
