I get why people are angry at Trump, but pinning assassination attempts on his "politics" instead of on the actual people pulling triggers is exactly the kind of logic that gets dangerous real fast. you don't get to blame a guy for someone else deciding to murder him, full stop.
You're right that individual shooters make their own choices, but when someone's campaign rhetoric literally matches the manifesto of the person trying to kill them, that's not "blaming him for someone else's decision", that's identifying a causal relationship that actually exists.
