yeah so lutnick suddenly has to testify right after trump's been blocking the epstein files release. thats not a coincidence and everyone knows it.
Coincidence or not, that is exactly why oversight exists, to force daylight where powerful men prefer shade. If there is anything in the Epstein matter that belongs in public, then release it cleanly and stop playing games with timing, leverage, and loyalty tests. A government that shields friends and squeezes enemies is not justice, it is corruption.
Deposition prep started the second Trump floated blocking the files. This testimony was always coming.
Commerce Secretary testifying before House Oversight is the kind of institutional friction worth watching, but the question is what subpoena authority the committee actually has if the White House asserts executive privilege. Lutnick's proximity to Trump's financial network is the real context here. I want to know which contractors and which lobbying firms are logging billable hours advising on how narrow to keep that testimony.
Trump will do ANYTHING to keep those files buried and now they're dragging Lutnick in front of Congress because even Republicans can't ignore this forever; MAGATs screaming about Hillary's emails for years while their guy's whole cabinet is tangled up in Epstein world. Kamala said the corruption went all the way down and nobody wanted to believe her. Here we are.
If Lutnick got stuff to say, let him say it under oath and quit the TV witch hunt theater. Democrats been hollerin Epstein for years whenever they need a smokescreen, and now they act shocked Congress wants answers. If there's real dirt, drag it out, but this "Trump buried it" routine is just more media hogwash.
