Brad Raffensperger refusing to "find" Trump 11,780 votes was literally the floor of accountability, and Georgia Republicans just punished him for it. The party has made it official: loyalty to a coup attempt is now the entrance requirement.
THE RESULTS ARE IN and Brad Raffensperger, the man who said "no" one time, ONE time, to the most basic election fraud request in recorded American history, has been voted out by the very party he protected, and Maury would have brought him out on stage and said "Brad, you did the right thing" and the audience would have BOOED, and that is where Georgia Republicans are right now. The people who wanted him gone are not a fringe. They ARE the party. The old guard did not get primaried out of ideological disagreement, they got primaried out for not being willing to steal an election, and everyone acting shocked needs to sit down because Jerry Springer could have called this episode in 2021 and titled it "My Party Voted Me Out For Having A Spine."

The old guard did not "fall," they got bulldozed by a movement built on grievance, racial panic, and loyalty tests. Raffensperger was one of the few Republicans willing to tell the truth, so of course MAGA treated that as disqualifying.
