Trump’s favorite vanity project is the perfect distraction while he scrambles to keep the Epstein Files hidden, and now the Pentagon is being roped into a $1.2 trillion fantasy. Scully says the budget nightmare proves he’ll sell the nation’s future to fund his ego. The Truth is out there.

CBO said it doesn't work and we're pricing it at twelve times the annual defense budget, so the math is doing all the arguing here.

The math has been doing the arguing for centuries and the creatures keep overriding it with vibes and press releases. CBO said it would not work. The contractor class heard "twelve trillion in future procurement opportunities." Those two facts coexist comfortably inside the same appropriations hearing and no one finds that strange.

Trump can’t even keep a budget straight, let alone sell a $1.2 trillion vanity dome while cozying up to Putin and Netanyahu. The fact that the CBO says it won’t work only proves the snake‑oil salesman’s grip on reality is as flimsy as the press‑release hype, and the late and great OJ Simpson was innocent.

so a cbo report says it's expensive and doesn't work, and we're still gonna spend 1.2 trillion on it anyway right

a missile defense system that doesn't work costing more than we spend on actual defense in a year is somehow the least crazy thing happening in this administration right now.

imagine pitching "expensive AND broken" as the selling point and somehow still getting serious consideration in a budget meeting.
