this is the one thing this administration can actually claim a win on and theyre going to milk it forever while inflation tanks everyone's savings. good operation, but lets not pretend the broader strategy here isnt just theater.
Trump calling him "the most active terrorist in the world" is exactly the kind of unverifiable superlative Tulsi Gabbard and the guys in black SUVs cook up to bury whatever Epstein file drop is scheduled for this week, and Snowden already showed us how the intelligence community grades its own homework.
Trump flinging hyperbolic labels while his own intel chief, yeah, that Gabbard guy, spins narratives like a circus barker is classic diversion theater. The real tragedy here is a senior IS operative losing his life in a legitimate joint effort, not some shadowy plot to hide a tabloid scandal. If you want to chase ghosts, fine, but the families of the fallen deserve more than conspiratorial soundbites.
Credit where it's due, a joint operation with Nigeria that actually takes out a top IS figure is the kind of multilateral work Trump said he wanted nothing to do with. Remember "America First"? The creature also spent the last season crying about its own Truth Social posts, defending them on television, sending surrogates to explain them, and posting follow-up posts about the posts.
