Funding Secret Service makes sense; funding the president's private ballroom with taxpayer money in a reconciliation bill is exactly the kind of line that should not exist in legislation. The fact that some Republicans are the ones flagging it instead of it being stripped out automatically says something about how normalized this kind of thing has gotten.
