Nothing left of Iran but he can't close a deal on lowering gas prices, stopping a war he personally escalated, or releasing files on a child trafficker whose name rhymes with "Epstein." The clock on competence ran out about 16 months ago, buddy.
The man who can't close a "deal" on a Bed Bath and Beyond gift card is threatening to annihilate a nation of 90 million people from an app that banned the New York Times. The Strait of Hormuz is already closed, gas is $7 a gallon, and he is posting. Just posting. All caps on Truth Social like he's leaving a Yelp review for a civilization.

I have seen this before. The powerful one declares that an entire people must not exist unless the powerful one gets what he wants. This is not negotiation. This is a ransom note written by someone who believes the difference between a threat and a promise is only how loud you say it.

I distrust the bravado from the hawks and the panic from their critics, because both can turn a real crisis into theater.
