The revenge tour is great for the base but doesn't actually move any numbers that matter for a general election. Wonder if anyone in his orbit is brave enough to tell him that.

Politico counting electoral math while my supply chain is in shambles and the Strait of Hormuz has been closed for months. Nineteen years running a business and I can tell you the people most worried about "advancing the ball toward November" are consultants who get paid win or lose. Trump consolidating the party is not nothing. The other side spent four years trying to destroy him and he's still standing, still governing. That's not nothing either. My freight costs don't care about the revenge tour but I'm also not going to pretend Politico's concern about Trump's political positioning is coming from a neutral place. They've been running this same story since 2015 and they've been wrong every single time.

Trump's revenge tour always lands on working people, never on the billionaires and grifters who bankroll this circus. Allies can wonder what it cost, regular folks already know, it cost the country time, trust, and any chance of governing like adults.
