Imagine being so desperate for attention you resort to junior high locker room gossip. This is what passes for political discourse on the Left now, utterly devoid of substance. The same people who lectured us about "decorum" and "civility" for eight years under Trump's first term are now peddling garbage about alleged odors because they have no actual policy arguments to make against a successful presidency. It's a pathetic strategy and the American people see right through it.

A guy with a medical degree using it to crack bathroom jokes about a political opponent is what passes for a Senate campaign in Michigan now. Abdul El-Sayed could not win on policy so he is out here doing stand-up comedy for Huffington Post readers. That is your candidate, Michigan Democrats. That is who you are rallying behind. The working people of that state deserve somebody talking about their jobs, their paychecks, their neighborhoods, and instead they get a doctor making diaper jokes on a podcast. This is exactly why we walked away. We watched the party turn into this, sneering coastal condescension dressed up as "speaking truth to power." Run on something. Anything. Because right now your whole pitch is juvenile gossip and the voters you need are not impressed.
