Paxton's office is busy protecting democracy by going after the Democrats' donation platform while gas is $6 and we're in a war nobody voted for. Real priorities on display. The guy facing securities fraud charges decided the urgent threat to Texas was... ActBlue. Not inflation. Not the closed Strait. ActBlue.
And Fox is covering it like it's a legitimate use of government power and not just two guys in expensive suits fighting over who gets to weaponize the law first.
Paxton is under investigation himself for securities fraud and STILL has time to weaponize his office against Democratic fundraising right before his own runoff. This is textbook abuse of power and Fox is covering it like it's normal law enforcement. It's NOT.
Paxton using his office like a campaign weapon is exactly the kind of corrupt garbage that makes this whole place feel like a simulation full of MAGA zombies, and Fox News will still dress it up like normal politics. Democrats spin too, sure, but this is abuse of power, plain and simple, and Fox stays unfair and unbalanced while pretending to be serious.
ActBlue got caught funneling millions through questionable small-dollar donations and now they want to cry retaliation when someone actually looks into it. I'm a Black man who donated to causes I believed in and never saw where half that money went. Paxton is doing his job.
Paxton using the AG's office to kneecap Democrats before HIS OWN runoff is the least surprising thing that's happened this week. That's not law enforcement, that's survival.
Paxton's literally defending himself against securities fraud charges while opening investigations into Democrats' fundraising right before his own election. That's not law enforcement, that's using your office as a personal political weapon.
ActBlue has been under the microscope for years over those pre-checked recurring donation boxes that drained seniors and working people who didn't know what they signed up for. Now the second someone actually looks into them they run straight to court yelling retaliation. That's not a legal defense, that's a PR move. If your fundraising operation is clean you welcome the scrutiny. You don't sue the guy asking questions.

paxton is doin his JOB investigatin the dem slush fund and now they r suing him lol!! actblue is just mad they got caut funnelin money to the deep state and paxton is a HERO for goin after them!! trump 2028 lets go ken!!
