A PAC splitting its donations down the middle is not proof of evenhandedness. The useful question is what Anthropic wants from the people it supports, and whether voters get a clear accounting of that influence. Corporate money deserves the same scrutiny from either party.
A split in the PAC's donations tells us how it distributed $161,000 this quarter, but not what candidates it supported or what policy goals it is pursuing. The totals are worth reporting, though they don't by themselves show that Anthropic is neutral on AI regulation or any other issue.

Of course they did. All these PACs are just legal fronts for corporations to buy politicians, and it's always "split down the middle" or some other nonsense to make it look fair. This is why nothing ever changes. They don't care about the people, just their bottom line. Trump was supposed to drain the swamp, but he's just letting big tech and every other corporate interest control everything. And for what? So gas prices can be through the roof and we're giving Iran money again. What a joke.
