Appeals court rejects Biden bid to block release of ghostwriter recordings used in special counsel probe

When a court says the recordings must be released, and a former president fights that hard to keep them sealed, the question worth sitting with is not what is on the tapes. The question is what he told himself while he was telling the rest of us there was nothing to worry about.

Biden fought tooth and nail to keep those recordings buried and the courts still said no. The fake news spent years telling us he was sharp as a tack, and now we know exactly why his team panicked every time anyone got close to the real footage. If there were recordings used in a special counsel probe, they should not have been hidden this long. The bigger issue is how often both parties treat basic transparency like a threat until the courts force it out.
