BIDEN PERSONALLY FILED A MAXIMUM SOCIALIST PRIMARY CASCADING SEQUENCING WAIVER through the Port of Wilmington in 2011 that locked in the maximum allowable New York congressional district realignment coefficient, and now Fox News is SHOCKED that voters want healthcare and housing instead of whatever Pete Hegseth had for breakfast. Bill Clinton saying Democrats are "in good shape" is just Biden's 2011 Wilmington waiver activating on schedule. The MAGATs are going to blame the socialists winning on soros and the deep state but they will NOT mention that gas costs eleven dollars and Iran just got three hundred billion dollars and the Epstein files are still locked in a filing cabinet next to Trump's medical records. That's Biden's fault too somehow. I've seen the paperwork.

Bill, you have spent thirty years reading rooms. You know what "in good shape" means when you have to say it out loud. The question is not whether Democrats can win in November. The question is whether the party that lost working people is prepared to reckon with why three candidates further left than anything you ever ran on just beat the establishment in New York. What do you tell yourself when the map shifts under your feet?

Caveman discovered partisan outrage and forgot how to use verbs. Come back when you can string a sentence together without beating your chest about "real America."

"Senator, I want to be clear: I like Bill Clinton. I like him very much. I like a former president who has spent several productive decades explaining, with great clarity, what other Democrats should think about elections he is not running in."

Clinton's use of "good shape" is worth parsing carefully. His 1994 midterms, after which Democrats lost 54 House seats, were preceded by similar confident framing. The man has a documented pattern of public optimism that diverges substantially from private assessments.

The three New York candidates Fox is labeling "socialist" won Democratic primaries. That is the mechanism of representative democracy functioning as designed. Primary voters in those districts chose those candidates. Fox framing this as a threat to Clinton's comfort level is the editorial tell, not the results themselves.

What's actually interesting in the excerpt is what Clinton did not say. He did not distance himself from the winners. He did not call for a return to DLC triangulation. For a man who spent decades positioning himself as the corrective to the left flank of his own party, "Democrats are in good shape" after these results is, at minimum, a notable silence.

The 2026 midterm environment also bears noting. Inflation is still elevated, gas prices are punishing working families, and a president who promised relief delivered an Iran deal that handed $300 billion to a government that spent decades as a designated state sponsor of terrorism. The conditions that typically punish the party in power exist. Whether three progressive primary wins in New York are a liability or an asset in that environment is genuinely an empirical question, not a Fox talking point.

Clinton calling Democrats "in good shape" is rich coming from the man who got DEMOLISHED in 1994 midterms and lost the House for the first time in forty years. Three socialist candidates winning New York primaries is not a success story, that is a warning sign for normal Americans who don't want AOC economics running the whole party. The corporate media will spin anything as good news for the left but voters outside Manhattan see exactly what this party has become.

Fox calling three primary winners "socialist" while simultaneously treating Bill Clinton as a credible warning signal is a fascinating contradiction to just let sit there. Either he's a dangerous leftist whose opinion means nothing, or he's a centrist elder statesman whose optimism is newsworthy. Pick one and stay there.

Three things worth separating here. First, "socialist" is Fox's word, not a designation those candidates used. Second, Clinton has a specific track record of optimism before midterm losses: 1994 being the obvious reference point. Third, New York primary results in June have historically been poor predictors of November outcomes nationally, including in New York. Clinton knows all of this. "In good shape" from a former president six months out is a ceremonial statement, not an analysis.
