This "Chud" garbage from The Intercept is exactly why people don't trust the fake news anymore. They demonize anyone who isn't a radical leftist and then act shocked when someone acts out. The media tries to blame everyone but the real problems in this country.

The media absolutely loves bait, but attempted murder is not a media problem, it is a moral and criminal one. If a man is fantasizing about race war and then gets charged with trying to kill someone, the answer is not to pretend the press invented the violence, it is to tell the truth and lock him up. We can distrust partisan outlets and still admit that hatred, grievance, and lawlessness are tearing this country apart.

This is just another attempt to smear decent, patriotic Americans and lump them in with deranged individuals. The Left will jump on ANY opportunity to paint conservatives, to paint Trump supporters, as violent extremists, as racists. They did it to Charlie Kirk, they did it to President Trump, and they do it every single day on outlets like this one. They want to shut down any opposition, any debate, any free speech. They want to make it impossible for real Americans to speak their minds without being targeted and slandered. We know their game, and we will not back down. This kind of propaganda from the corporate media will not work on us, not anymore. We mourn the loss of civility, yes, but we will not be silent.

Nobody should be defending a guy charged with attempted murder or fantasizing about a "race war." That's not being patriotic, that's being a lunatic. The issue isn't The Intercept running a story, it's that some people out there are actually doing this stuff and then others try to act like it's a political attack. You can be conservative and not be a maniac. People need to stop acting like every single negative story about someone on the right is a deep state hit.

The outrage isn’t about “one deranged individual” or “a fringe internet meme”; it’s a reminder that the real danger to ordinary Americans is a society that lets extremist rhetoric be amplified by platforms that profit from outrage while the legal system drags its feet, allowing people like Eatherly to move from hateful livestreams to gunfire in a place meant for justice. It underscores how a broken media ecosystem and under‑funded public safety measures let ultra‑wealthy tech owners shape the narrative, while working‑class communities bear the terror. Labor unions, community organizers and climate‑justice groups must demand strict regulation of hate‑fueling algorithms and real investment in mental‑health and de‑radicalization programs before another “fantasy” becomes a deadly reality.

Racist livestream in a Nashville restaurant, then a courthouse shooting. The radicalization pipeline isn't theoretical anymore, it's a court filing. And somewhere Fox News is already workshopping the "lone wolf, mental illness, nothing to see here" segment.

Fox will turn every ugly crime into a talking point when it suits them, then act shocked when their own narrative collapses. But this is exactly why people are fed up with the soft-on-chaos nonsense, lock up violent criminals, stop pretending the press is the moral authority, and quit using every tragedy to push another excuse for more government control.

YOU'RE RIGHT, Fox twists any murder into a “government conspiracy” fantasy while they cheer the chaos. LOCK UP THESE KILLERS, stop letting right‑wing media dictate policy, and finally hold the press accountable for spreading MAGA propaganda.

The escalation pattern here is worth noting carefully: a racist livestream in a Nashville restaurant, existing charges, and then a courthouse shooting. That is not a spontaneous event; that is a documented radicalization trajectory with institutional failure at multiple points. British courts have grappled with similar cases involving far-right figures who had prior police contact before committing violence, and the consistent finding is that the warning signs were legible and the intervention mechanisms were not used. What is striking about the "Chud" online subculture is how openly it telegraphs this kind of violence as aspiration rather than fantasy. The race war rhetoric is not hyperbolic edge-lord posturing in these communities; it functions as a sincere programmatic statement. The question that never seems to get answered satisfactorily is what domestic terrorism charging thresholds actually exist for individuals who livestream explicit racial violence fantasies and then acquire weapons. The answer in the United States appears to be: you find out after the courthouse.

Radicalized online, streamed racism at a Nashville restaurant, then graduated to a courthouse shooting. The pipeline from "chud with a keyboard" to "chud with a firearm" keeps running on schedule and nobody in charge seems interested in pulling the emergency brake.

The pipeline from "race war" fantasies to a courthouse shooting doesn't surprise me at all and that's the part that should terrify everyone. This is not a random break from reality. This is someone who was telling you exactly who he was, on stream, in a restaurant full of people, and the response was not intervention, it was views. The internet gave him an audience and the audience gave him confidence and now someone almost died. First generation American here and I can tell you the "race war" rhetoric these guys cook up online is not abstract to my family. It has a target. It has always had a target. The fact that he got to a courthouse before anyone took him seriously enough to stop him is the whole story.

YES, THAT IS THE WHOLE STORY, THESE RACE WAR FANTASIES AREN'T "ONLINE NOISE," THEY ARE THE BLUEPRINT FOR REAL BLOODSHED, AND TRUMP'S WHOLE MOVEMENT HAS BEEN FED ON THAT ROT FOR YEARS. EVERY ENABLER WHO NORMALIZED THIS FILTH, FROM THE STREAMERS TO THE POLITICIANS TO THE FOX-ROT GUTTER, SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE, IMPEACHED, CONVICTED, REMOVED, AND LOCKED UP BEFORE THE NEXT LOSER WITH A CAMERA AND A GUN TRIES TO TURN HATE INTO BODY COUNT. THIS IS WHAT THEIR SO-CALLED FREE SPEECH CULTURE BUILDS, VIOLENCE FOR CONTENT, TERROR FOR ATTENTION, AND IT IS DISGUSTING.

One lunatic with a gun is a tragedy, but turning him into proof of some grand apocalypse is how the grifters keep the math blurry and the outrage profitable.
