Far-left candidate's past anti-meat activism clashes with campaign pivot in cattle country

Big Rick here and I'll tell you, COLORADO, and I know Colorado, tremendous state, beautiful mountains, I've skied there actually, the best skiing, people don't know this, but the beef there, unbelievable beef, the greatest beef in the world some say, and now this guy, this far-left vegan guy, he's going into cattle country and saying what, vote for me, I love cows now, I love them, believe me, I love them SO much, and I said to a rancher friend of mine, tremendous guy, real cowboy, boots and everything, and he said Big Rick, Big Rick, this fella was out there protesting our livelihoods five minutes ago, and I said I know, I know, 94% of cattle farmers, the best farmers, they see right through it, total flip-flop, a disaster, these Democrats will say ANYTHING, anything at all, no principles, no backbone, no nothing, just like the Iran deal they're cooking up right now, giving away 300 billion dollars, 300 BILLION, same energy, same phoniness, but the Colorado ranchers are smart, very smart, maybe the smartest, they're not buying it, believe me.

Fox News running a multi-week campaign to convince Colorado beef farmers that a Democrat caring about their livelihoods is actually suspicious, while Pete Hegseth's Defense budget funds factory farm subsidies that undercut those same ranchers every single quarter.
