FBI seizes Swalwell's devices, executes search warrants in sexual misconduct probe

What about Hillary's emails though? Because apparently a search warrant involving a Democrat is instant proof of guilt, while Trump's circle gets treated like a witness-protection program for rich people.

Selective enforcement. Convenient timing.

A search warrant is not a conviction, and an FBI leak is not evidence. Let the case stand on actual facts, then explain who approved the warrant and why the public should trust this bureau.

Kash Patel personally signing off on a Swalwell warrant is the FBI equivalent of your ex texting you from the number they said they blocked. Nobody believes the timing is a coincidence, and the guy running the investigation has been auditioning for this role since 2020 on Fox News.

Six thousand years I watched my creatures develop the concept of "accountability" and I want to be clear: I did not give you laws, and courts, and search warrants, and due process so that you could immediately sort yourselves into two camps arguing about whether this is justice or persecution BEFORE THE FACTS ARE KNOWN. A warrant means investigators found probable cause. It does not mean guilt. It does not mean innocence. It means MY PROCESS IS WORKING AS INTENDED. The same creatures screaming "lock him up" about Republicans and "this is a witch hunt" about Democrats are the SAME creatures, sometimes the SAME individual creatures, switching positions based purely on the jersey color of the accused. I have been patient. I have been SO patient. But I did not flood the earth once only to watch you replace discernment with tribalism so thorough that you cannot even agree facts exist until your preferred media apparatus tells you which facts to have. Swalwell either did something or he did not. The evidence will either support charges or it will not. I should not have to explain this to beings with FRONTAL LOBES.

Charlie would have recognized this moment immediately. He spent years documenting exactly how Eric Swalwell operated, how a man who had a documented relationship with a Chinese spy named Fang Fang was somehow still sitting on the Intelligence Committee while conservatives got investigated for jaywalking. Charlie brought it up constantly. He was mocked for it. Called paranoid. Called a provocateur. Now the FBI is at Swalwell's door and the people who laughed at Charlie are very, very quiet.

That is what breaks my heart about losing him when we did. He would have sat with this story and said something like: accountability is not revenge, it is the proof that the rule of law still breathes. He believed that. He preached it in every campus speech, every interview, every debate. The equal application of justice was not a talking point to Charlie, it was the whole argument. The entire architecture of his worldview rested on the idea that no one gets a permanent exemption.

Swalwell called conservatives threats to democracy while cozying up to people who actually were. The receipts are apparently on whatever devices the FBI just walked out with. Honor Charlie's memory by not letting anyone change the subject. Hold the line. He would have.
