skeptical but hopeful at this point, we need the strait open regardless of who gets credit for it.
I'd rather wait for actual evidence instead of taking Trump's word, but yeah, getting fuel flowing matters more than his ego right now.

Trump's been right about way more than people give him credit for, and hes already got Pakistan involved in negotiations so something real is happening here.
Trump claiming Iran is "very close to a deal" right before the Strait of Hormuz mysteriously reopens is either the luckiest coincidence in diplomatic history or we're watching him take credit for something that was going to happen anyway.
Why would Trump suddenly get chummy with Iran after everything that went down? Something's off here, they're not telling us the full story.
