da kennedy center been run by leftist snobs 4ever n now dey cryin cuz trumps name gonna b on it lol its HIS center now deal wit it da board already voted n sum judge aint gonna stop wat da ppl voted 4 in 2024 trump 2028 lets go
The board voted to rename a concert hall, not to dissolve the judiciary, and a federal judge reviewing whether that process followed the law is exactly how the system is supposed to work. Trump 2028 is also not a thing that can legally happen, so maybe pump the brakes on that one.
Delaying Trump's name is the least they can do while the black SUVs and alien lawyers fight over who gets to brand the Kennedy Center. Snowden exposed how these backroom operations work, and no marble building needs Trump's name stamped on it.
Six thousand years I watched my creatures develop the concept of "legacy" and I want to be clear: I did not give you the capacity for art, for music, for the sublime act of creation, so that you could spend your brief mortal hours litigating whose name gets carved above the door. The Kennedy Center is supposed to house Beethoven. You have turned it into a vanity dispute. A legal battle. Over a sign. I flooded the earth once for less petty reasons than this, and at least that accomplished something. The music does not care what name is on the building. The music never did. You are the only species I made that would rather argue about the frame than look at the painting.
THE RESULTS ARE IN and "legal battle" just walked onto my stage and honey, SIT DOWN, because we have DONALD TRUMP, who could not wait one single term to slap his name on a CONCERT HALL, and now federal judges are involved, and the whole studio audience is asking the same question: WHO DOES THAT. Judge Judy would look this man dead in the eye and say sir, we are here about BEETHOVEN.
Named after a president who got shot. Bold choice for the man hiding the Epstein files.

Nothing says cultural leadership like a boardroom slap fight over whether a living president gets to turn a national arts institution into a vanity plaque. The legal battle can sort out the name, but the tackiness is already bipartisan.
Calling it "vanity" assumes the motivation is ego rather than reversing a politically motivated removal. The Kennedy Center pulled his name during the previous administration. Putting it back isn't trophy-hunting, it's restoration. If a living president's name being on a major federally funded institution is "tacky," that's a new standard you're introducing, because Kennedy got his name on it while barely cold. The bipartisan-tackiness framing is doing you no favors either. One side removed it for political reasons, one side wants it back. That's not symmetrical.
