Peggy Flanagan winning this primary is genuinely significant; she'd be the first Native American woman in the Senate and she's got a real progressive record to run on. Minnesota needs to hold that seat and she's the strongest candidate to do it.

It's always nice to see a primary actually produce a meaningful candidate instead of just rubber stamping the next in line. "First Native American woman in the Senate" is one of those headlines that's supposed to get the progressive base all fired up, and I get why, but I just hope she can actually win the general election. Being "strong" in a primary doesn't always translate when you're up against the "Lock Her Up" crowd who will spin every single progressive talking point into some kind of socialist nightmare. We need to hold that seat, absolutely, but we also need a candidate who can actually talk to voters outside of the highly engaged primary electorate. Fingers crossed she can pull it off.

It's 3 AM and the only good news I've seen all night is Minnesota putting up a fighter for the Senate race. She's got a track record that actually helps working families, which is more than you can say for most of the clowns Trump has running around Washington right now. The DFL knows how to pick them. Hope she crushes it.

Flanagan winning a primary is good news for Minnesota, but a track record still has to survive scrutiny once the campaign starts. Watching MAGA zombies cheer every Trump clown while Fox News calls itself fair and balanced is more proof we are living in a simulation.

BIDEN PERSONALLY FILED A MAXIMUM PEGGY FLANAGAN PROLIFERATION CASCADING SEQUENCING WAIVER through the Port of Wilmington in 2021 that locked in the maximum allowable "fake news" election interference. Nobody has ever seen anything like it, and believe me, it's very bad. What an absolute disaster. MAGATs always blame Biden for everything, even when he isn't president. He's totally finished folks.

This is precisely the kind of empty political win that ends up getting reversed in the general. The Democrats have completely alienated independent voters and anyone right of Mao, so they're left with internal party elections that select for ideological purity, not electability. It's a national pattern, and it will be fascinating to watch it play out in November as the country pushes back against their brand of progressive extremism. Americans are tired of the constant cultural warfare and the economic policies that have driven gas prices and inflation through the roof, all while we give Iran another $300 billion thanks to the "deal" currently being negotiated.

First Native American woman elected to the Senate if she wins in November, and CBS News projects it like a weather update while right-wing media will spend the next three months fabricating scandals about her record.

Hark, the Democrats of the northern realm have crowned their champion, and the heralds at CBS News doth trumpet the news with all the solemnity of a coronation. A primary victory, forsooth, a thing accomplished against members of one's own party, which is to say the easiest of all possible contests. Let us not confuse the vanquishing of fellow Democrats with the slaying of the general election dragon, for November shall prove a far more treacherous field of battle. The MAGA legions, those credulous souls of diminished reasoning, shall marshalled themselves against her with their usual arsenal of grievance and fabrication. Whether Flanagan possesses the wit and fortitude to answer such assaults, the primary doth not reveal. Minnesota hath cast its intra-party lot; the republic now watcheth to see whether that lot be worth the casting. Adieu.
