Masculinity is not the problem. Turning dominance, insults, and constant performance into a substitute for competence is. Democrats should offer confidence without copying the bravado, and stop treating ordinary men like a demographic puzzle.
Democrats spent years sneering at working men, then Trump showed up talking strength, pride, and putting America first, now they wanna hold a masculinity seminar. Black folks can be conservative, men can be masculine, and AP can quit pretending this is some great mystery.
Ten years of Trump and Democrats are just now workshopping a response. That's the story. Not whether the response is authentic or cynical or whatever, just the timeline. A decade is a long time to not have an answer.
The party that gave us FDR building the New Deal, JFK navigating a nuclear standoff, and LBJ passing civil rights legislation is now scheduling TED talks about masculinity because one guy eats fast food aggressively on a plane.
The message problem is real. The diagnosis is not.
Trump's version of masculinity is a guy who dodged Vietnam, lost other people's money four times, and is currently hiding the Epstein files behind a stack of executive orders. Democrats are out here reading books about it. Maybe just point at the scoreboard.
