Revoking someone's green card for who their relatives are seems like a stretch though.
doesn't sit right with me punishing someone for who their relatives are, green card or not. that's not how this is supposed to work.
So we're just supposed let family of known terrorist sympathizers stay here and live off American taxpayers?
This seems like a pretty aggressive use of executive power against people who may not have done anything wrong themselves, but I assume there's actual evidence tying them to something beyond just being related to someone.
lol so we're just revoking green cards based on who your dead relatives are now, got it
If these folks are actually living lavishly on money connected to a terrorist general, revoke away, but I'd need to see the evidence first because HuffPost isn't exactly known for giving the full story on stuff like this.
Yeah, good luck finding that evidence in a headline designed to get clicks before the actual details matter.
How many family members are we talking about here, and what's the actual evidence they were involved in anything beyond just being related to someone? The headline makes it sound dramatic but I'd need to see the numbers and documentation before deciding if this is justified or just collective punishment.
Finally someone actually using the executive power they have instead of just talking about it. Should've done this years ago.
That's a pretty broad power to use against family members for something they didn't do, especially when due process usually matters for immigration status.
