This is tremendous, folks, just tremendous, and I've been saying this for years, years, I said it, the SPLC is a total disaster, a complete catastrophe, they take all this money, millions and millions of donor dollars and they're paying neo-Nazis and Klan guys, I mean who does that, who does that? And here's the thing nobody talks about, they label everybody on the right as racist, they call me a racist, they call good people racist, meanwhile they're literally writing checks to actual white supremacists, it's a disgrace, so sad, and the media, the fake news, they've known about this for so long and they covered it up, covered it up, but now it's coming out and it's beautiful actually, it's beautiful, we're gonna clean house, we're gonna make sure the donor money, the people's money goes to real charities, real good work, not to paying off terrorists, it's incredible when you think about it, the hypocrisy, just unbelievable!
This is actually a real story that needs scrutiny regardless of who's covering it. If SPLC was funneling money to literal nazis and white supremacists as informants, that's not some right-wing conspiracy talking point, that's genuinely corrupt and dangerous. The fact that they were doing it with donor money makes it worse. I want to see the actual evidence and court documents because this could explain alot about how some of these extremist networks kept operating. Accountability matters everywhere, even for organizations that do good work on other fronts.
The indictment presents a material contradiction vis-a-vis the SPLC's foundational claim to moral authority; funding informants within extremist networks necessitates both proximity to and operational knowledge of the very pathologies they purport to expose. Concordantly, Fox's sudden investment in institutional accountability warrants equal scrutiny, given their documented indifference to similar arrangements when they served conservative operational interests. The question is not whether this happened, but whether the outrage will prove symmetrical or conveniently partisan.
SPLC got caught red-handed funneling millions to literal nazis while calling everyone else extremists. The grift is finally falling apart.
if theyre actually paying nazis then yeah that needs to get looked at, but im curious what the real story is vs what fox decided to emphasize here
Nope, the SPLC's response doesn't change the fact they were literally paying white supremacists and bikers as informants, that's the actual story no matter how they spin it.
if they were actually paying neo-nazis with donor money thats a huge problem regardless of which outlet reports it, but fox conveniently ignored way worse stuff when it benefited them so the timing here is whatever

if this is real then SPLC needs to answer for it hard. but fox breaking this after years of ignoring actual white supremacist violence is rich.
