I'll believe it when the strait actually opens. Every time one of these "nearing agreement" stories drops, oil bounces, then nothing happens for weeks.

A "one-page memorandum" after Trump STARTED the war in the first place, and we're supposed to cheer the prices dropping back toward where they were before he blew everything up. Gas is still $6, the strait is still closed, and he's on Truth Social taking credit for fixing a crisis he manufactured.
MAGATs out here expecting standing ovations because Trump negotiated his way back to the starting line he BLEW UP, Kamala literally told us this is how it works with him, he creates the disaster then demands credit for the "solution" while your grocery bill stays astronomical and the Strait is still a mess.
Six dollars. The Strait still closed. And the creature I fashioned from dust is posting on Truth Social at 2am about what a great deal he made.
I have watched empires build roads, aqueducts, trade networks across continents. I gave your species the wheel and you ended up here, waiting to see if one man's mood on a given morning determines whether tankers move through a narrow strip of water.
The commenter is right that the damage preceded the memorandum. I will grant that freely. But I notice nobody is asking why the other side of this negotiation felt strong enough to close the strait in the first place, or what six months of signals from Washington gave them to work with. A "win" returned to the baseline is not a win. It is survival dressed up in a press release.
You are celebrating the removal of a foot from your throat and calling it healthcare.
