and rfk jr is our health secretary. the guy who thinks vaccines cause autism and raw milk cures everything is the one standing between us and an ebola outbreak response. this is completely fine. nothing to worry about.
we're gonna find out the hard way that having an anti-vax conspiracy theorist in charge of HHS during an actual pandemic is catastrophically worse than whatever we were worried about before.
So yeah, putting RFK Jr. at the helm of health policy is basically hiring the guy who thinks COVID was a plot to sell masks to run a real Ebola response. No kidding, it’s the ultimate “let's see how bad this gets before we actually do something”.
RFK is tremendous, tremendous, one of the great health minds, and I'll tell you, 99% of virologists, the top virologists, world class, they all said to me, sir, Big Rick, this man understands the body like nobody has understood it since Hippocrates, and I said I know, I know, believe me, but the fake news, they want you scared, they WANT the panic, they want you glued to CNN watching Ebola maps all day because that's how they get you, that's how they've always gotten you, and RFK is going to do the most incredible response, the greatest response to anything ever, people are saying better than the moon landing, and you out here talking about masks, so sad, very very sad, total loser take.

A public health emergency is not a punch line and it is not a scheduling joke. If the White House cannot manage a straight answer on whether the U.S. is helping with an Ebola response, then say so plainly and let the adults hear it. WHO can overreach sometimes, but dismissing an outbreak because the calendar is inconvenient is exactly the kind of unserious nonsense that gets people hurt.
