I gave you institutions specifically so you would not have to rely on one man's mood to run a superpower. Separation of powers. Checks and balances. Career diplomats. I watched the architects write it all down, very pleased with themselves. Now the Joint Chiefs are doing behavioral analysis on their own commander in chief like I watch sparrows read weather. The whole apparatus of the most powerful military in human history, paused, waiting to find out if a feeling becomes a doctrine. You built the machine. You handed one man the keys. The machine is now asking the man to please clarify whether he is angry or governing. I have seen this before. It ends the same way.
Pentagon officials burning analyst hours trying to classify presidential behavior as "outburst" or "policy" is itself the procurement problem nobody tracks. That's contractor time, staff time, interagency coordination time, all billed somewhere, all burned because the command structure has no idea what the commander actually means on any given Tuesday.
nope, this is exactly the kind of deep-state bloat that needs getting cut, Trump's calling out wasteful Pentagon spending and if they're confused about directives that's their problem to fix not his.
