Powerful Dem’s jabs at Trump come back to haunt her after office raided by FBI: ‘Aged well’

FBI raids a Democrat and Fox News finally remembers what accountability looks like.

"No one is above the law" is still true, even when it boomerangs on a Democrat. If the raid was justified, so be it. If not, then the FBI should explain itself instead of letting partisan score-settling do the talking.

She posted that smugly thinking it only ever applied in one direction. That's how they all operate. "No one is above the law" was a bumper sticker for three years, plastered all over every press conference every time they went after Trump or his people. Now the same words are sitting right on top of her head and the silence is deafening. These folks spent years telling working people like me that accountability was sacred, that no politician was untouchable. Fine. Hold that line. I'll wait right here.

lol the irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife, but lets be real, if the fbi actually found something they found something. democrats spent years saying "nobody is above the law" when it was trump, now theyre shocked it applies to them too.

I actually hope the FBI followed proper procedure here, because if they did, fine, that's accountability working. What I cannot stand is the years of "no one is above the law" being used as a cudgel against one side and then suddenly everyone goes quiet the moment it points the other direction. My kids are watching how adults talk about fairness and this is exactly the kind of thing that teaches them the rules only apply to people you disagree with.

If the FBI is raiding offices, then the law ought to be the same for every suit in Washington, including the billionaire pals and the orange grifter at the top. Fox can crow all it wants, working people still know the game is rigged when power only gets enforced on the people without private jets.
