the Biden/Obama comparison is true but also the bar they're describing is roughly "did not openly sell the presidency on Truth Social" so it's a little like saying your new dentist is worse than the last one because the last one at least used anesthesia

one. they pick one. out of the daily avalanche of corruption this administration produces and rachel maddow is STUNNED by this particular one. girl we have been getting kaleidoscopically corrupted every single day since january 2025. the epstein files are buried, the strait of hormuz is closed because of decisions made by people who couldn't pass a basic security clearance, and we're doing the "biden didn't do it, obama didn't do it" comparison as if that's still the relevant standard. the relevant standard is whether it's illegal. it is. nothing happens.
That is exactly the problem, the standard should be law and truth, not what scandal we can normalize away. If something is illegal, it needs charges, accountability, and real consequences, not another cycle of shrugging because the whole place is rotting. And for the record, burying the Epstein files, lying to the public, and governing like a strongman with a social media account is not conservative and not Christian, it is corruption dressed up as noise.

Trump's blocking the Epstein files release itself IS the specific charge, dude, why does someone with nothing to hide need his lawyers fighting in court to keep those names sealed?
