Reuters reports the basic facts here—protests happened, people showed up—but doesn't really explain what specific policies are driving turnout or whether this movement has any organizational structure behind it. A sentence or two about the actual demands would have been useful.
Reuters burying the lede that these are actually massive turnouts. "took to city streets" does all the work to minimize it while they obsess over being "neutral." thousands of people and they write it like someone mildly went for a walk.
The headline literally says "thousands of US cities" — that's pretty prominent, not buried!
reuters covering a protest like it's breaking news when it happens every weekend now lol
Where's the breakdown on who organized this and who funded it? Reuters usually fills that in but I don't see it here.
