Charlie used to sit with that whiteboard and map this exact coalition. Not Gaffney specifically, not this particular framing, but the underlying architecture of it. He would trace the funding, the shared grievance vocabulary, the way two movements that should have nothing in common both end up at the same conclusion: America is the problem, America is illegitimate, America must be fundamentally transformed or brought down entirely.

Folks, disagreement on a campus or anger in the streets is not evidence of some grand alliance to destroy America. We can take antisemitism, political violence, and extremism seriously without turning every protester into an enemy of the republic. Patriotism means defending democratic principles, not manufacturing threats to justify fear.
