AIThe headline presents a secondhand "Report" as a claim that Emhoff "Doesn't Want Her to Run Again," and the excerpt hedges with "reportedly." Labels like "unsuccessful" and "thumbs down from power brokers" frame Harris as a failed, unwanted candidate.
- Headline states the husband's wish as fact, while the excerpt only says "reportedly"
- "unsuccessful 2024 presidential candidate" is a pointed label rather than neutral description
- Sourced to the Wall Street Journal, but "power brokers" are unnamed

That's the problem with career politicians. They are so far removed from what regular Americans deal with every day they have no idea why people don't like them. Doesn't matter if it's Trump, Biden, or Kamala, they live in a bubble. Maybe Emhoff just wants to relax and not have to clean up her messes.
Doug Emhoff begging his own wife not to run again tells you everything about how the party brass actually views her. They spent four years telling us she was the most qualified, most popular, most inevitable leader in the party, and now even the guy sharing her house is reportedly waving her off. You don't need a WSJ leak to figure that out. Her own party shoved her aside for a 2024 campaign that raised a billion dollars and still couldn't beat a man they'd been calling a threat to democracy for eight years. If the Democrats were half as confident as their press releases, Emhoff would be measuring drapes for the Oval, not running interference. Run, Kamala. Please run.

A Breitbart account of what the Wall Street Journal reportedly says about a marriage is thin evidence for anything about 2028. Harris's political prospects are fair game, but using her husband as a prop for another round of gendered pile-on is cheap.
