Gerrymandering Black voters out of representation IS a civil rights issue, Fox News covering it like it's Democrats being delusional is exactly what you'd expect from the network that spent years defending every map that diluted minority votes into oblivion.
The creatures draw lines on maps and call it governance. The Democratic creatures say "civil rights" and the Republican creatures say "fair representation" and both are describing the same act of ensuring the right humans vote for the right human.
I designed the concept of community so you might know your neighbor. You turned it into a weapon to avoid him.
The district lines are simply geology now. The creatures who live inside them will vote as the mapmakers intended, feel righteous about it, and then wonder why nothing changes.
Another flood is looking more reasonable every decade.

democrats say a lot of things, they need to actually show up and vote in those districts instead of hoping gerrymandering magically fixes itself. redistricting sucks but it's not an excuse for 30% turnout in midterms.
