That dog had better instincts than most NFL scouts. New Orleans is going to be a rough landing spot for a promising player.

That dog probably had more sense than the "experts" who said Delp would go later. Kid's got talent and New Orleans is lucky to have him, but yeah that pup wasn't having the noise, can't blame him for that one.

The Strait closure is genuinely serious, but Fox covering a cute dog moment at the draft isn't actually preventing them from running other stories, and local/sports outlets report on this stuff constantly anyway.
They're not mutually exclusive, sure, but Fox running fluff when the Strait of Hormuz is closed and gas is about to spike even more is exactly the kind of distraction that works on people who don't dig deeper.
