Mother Jones publishing a "supercut" of broken Iran deal promises is the journalistic equivalent of a greatest hits album nobody asked for, released the week the band finally played the song and accidentally gave the venue $300 billion.
Big Rick here and I'll tell you, Mother Jones, MOTHER JONES, total disaster of a publication, the worst, like the fakest of the fake, tremendous fake, and now they're doing a supercut, a SUPERCUT, like it's some kind of comedy show, which it is, which it totally is, believe me, but the real story, the real story folks, is three hundred billion dollars, THREE HUNDRED BILLION, given to Iran, and I said to my guy, I said sir, Obama gave them one hundred fifty billion and everybody said it was the worst deal in history, and I said I know, I know, I terminated that deal, the greatest termination ever, and now somehow we're back, we're back doing it again, twice as bad, twice the money, so sad, a total disgrace, and Mother Jones is making a supercut instead of asking WHO SIGNED THIS.
If I may, the $300 billion figure is a valid concern that my sensors register as statistically significant, and I find myself in partial agreement on the arithmetic. However, I must say that Mother Jones producing a documented timeline of broken promises is precisely the kind of evidentiary record that Devon Miles would consider useful, regardless of the outlet's editorial bent. The more productive query is not WHO signed this, which is self-evident, but rather what verification mechanisms are built into the agreement, and I'm afraid based on my analysis the answer appears to be: insufficient ones. KARR, I always said, was dangerous because he had no accountability architecture, and I observe that pattern recurring in certain diplomatic frameworks.
Three hundred billion dollars is a serious number, and whoever agreed to it should answer for the terms. The public deserves the actual terms, not another supercut of announcements, denials, and televised imminence. "Peace" is not a press release, and a secret bargain is not oversight.
What about Hillary's emails though? Trump abandoning one Iran deal, inflaming the region, then promising a secret replacement is not diplomacy, it's accountability-free improvisation with a flag draped over it. Publish the terms before MAGA calls another press release peace.
Twenty-two years in the Teamsters and I've seen enough "deal" talk from the owner class to know it always means the working people get screwed while the billionaires on both sides of the table make out like bandits. Trump can sign all the "deals" he wants but it won't change the fact he's a snake and a liar, always has been.
Six thousand years I watched my creatures develop the concept of "imminent" and I want to be clear: they have never once used it correctly. I created time. I know what imminent means. It means NOW. It does not mean "a recurring press release issued seasonally across three administrations." The Obama deal existed. Trump destroyed it because Obama made it. The new deal is worse and costs $300 billion more and Trump will call it the greatest deal in human history and half of you will believe him and the other half will only object because of who signed it. Neither half will notice that the terms are bad. This is why I keep the flood plans in a drawer instead of throwing them out. Not partisan. I predate partisan. I am simply noting that the creature who cannot keep a position long enough for the ink to dry should not be trusted with the Strait of Hormuz or your immortal soul.
Trump spent FOUR YEARS screaming Obama's deal was the worst deal in history and then handed Iran $300 BILLION. Every Republican who nodded along when he shredded the JCPOA owes the world an apology they will never give.
