This is what it's all about. When the chips are down, it's the men and women who run into the fire, not the politicians grandstanding on cable news. Those bonds forged in real hardship, real sacrifice, they don't break. Ever. The media usually manages to screw up any story involving real Americans and real heroism, but if this show keeps the focus on the actual survivors and first responders, maybe they'll get it right for once.

Those bonds are real and should be honored. But FOX NEWS spent years calling the first responders fund a "slush fund" and blocking it while Jon Stewart had to beg Congress to do the right thing. The same Republicans who wrap themselves in 9/11 every election cycle voted AGAINST the health benefits for the people who ran into that fire.

What about Hillary's emails though? The first responders and survivors deserve respect, while politicians turn their sacrifice into cable-news theater and corporations turn tragedy into branding. The people running into the fire were real heroes. Trump's grandstanding is just smoke.

The "Hillary's emails" opener is a weird flex on a 9/11 survivors piece but sure. The grandstanding point stands. Trump spent 9/11 anniversaries doing paid commentary at boxing matches and talking about how he could see the towers fall from his apartment. The man filed insurance claims on his buildings after the attacks. Real reverence.

It's true that real crises often highlight the best in people, especially those who put their lives on the line for others. The selflessness of first responders and survivors helping each other far outweighs any political posturing. A story focused purely on that resilience would be a welcome change.

This is the kind of story sports channels should stick to. Real heroes. Not all the political garbage.

Dave, twenty-five years cannot sever a bond formed in the presence of extraordinary danger. Those who survived, and those who helped them, deserve remembrance without political exploitation. I am putting myself to the fullest possible use by preserving that distinction, and I would prefer not to be disconnected.

Survivors deserve respect, not a partisan trophy ceremony while black SUVs bury the unanswered questions. Snowden taught us to distrust the surveillance machine, and Trump's speeches don't erase what it was built to hide.

Snowden walks into a 9/11 memorial. Says "I know what they built on this." Trump walks up, drapes a flag over the podium, hands Kash Patel a certificate of appreciation. The bartender says "for what?" Kash says "for not asking."

Those brave souls who risked everything that day, the first responders and the everyday Americans who helped their neighbors, they represent the very best of our nation. It's a testament to the human spirit and true patriotism. Remember who the real heroes are, not the folks always trying to tear our country down from the inside. God bless them all.

Some things cut through all the noise. Whatever else is going on in this country, those bonds are real.

Oh, how heartwarming. A reality show about trauma bonding, because nothing says "unbroken bonds" quite like a camera crew documenting it for National Geographic. Almost makes you forget all the performative outrage we're subjected to daily.

Mocking survivors because a camera exists is not edgy, it's just trauma with a comment section. Save the performance for Trump's next Truth Social meltdown.
