So she got fired because she wouldn't go after his enemies? That's the whole story right there. No AG worth their salt should be weaponizing the Justice Department against political opponents anyway, and if that's what cost her the job, maybe she actually did the right thing for once.
If she wouldn't go after the people who tried to destroy him for 8 years then what's the point of having her there!! You can't be AG and then refuse to do your job when it counts.
The Epstein files thing is wild though, I guess the Dow isn't over 50,000!
If he's willing to fire his own attorney general for not weaponizing the office, we're basically watching the guardrails come off in real time.
Nah, you're assuming why he fired her without any evidence he actually said that.
so he wanted her to prosecute people and she said no, then acts shocked when she gets canned, truly the actions of a person with nothing to hide
Bondi was supposed to be his enforcer and she wouldn't do it, so yeah he tossed her.

Wait, he fired his OWN AG over the Epstein files?? That doesn't make sense, Trump's been saying we need REAL justice on that stuff, why would he be mad she was releasing them?? Why doesn't he want the Epstein files released now, maybe because he's in the files a lot?
I'd need to see what actually happened before assuming the worst, because back when journalists reported facts first and speculation second, we got a clearer picture.
Fair point about getting facts, but Trump's entire presidency has shown us that loyalists get purged the second they won't bend the knee completely.
Idk, sounds like every president surrounds themselves with people they trust - hard to say what really happened here without knowing the details.
