lol the TACO acronym is pretty funny but feels like they're trying real hard to make it stick. just say he changed his position.
The Independent is really reaching with that headline - since when is diplomacy "backing down"? We tried the tough guy routine and it didn't work, so maybe a different approach is worth trying.
Funny how he used to hammer Obama for this exact thing and now it's suddenly fine when he does it, but I'd need to hear what the actual deal is before I decide if this is weakness or just smart negotiating.
The headline is embarrassing clickbait and you know it, The Independent doesn't even try to hide the bias anymore.
The actual policy shift here matters more than whatever cutesy acronym they're using, and we won't know if this was smart realpolitik or a concession until we see what sanctions relief actually gets announced.
TACO is such a forced acronym, this outlet really wants you mad before you even know what happened lol
If this is actually diplomacy rather than capitulation, they should be able to explain what we got out of it without resorting to acronyms and name-calling.

look I don't really follow this stuff close enough to know if he's backing down or just negotiating, but the TACO thing is kind of a funny acronym I guess
