The Strait has been closed for weeks. If there was ever a moment to be the measured guy who explains what winning actually looks like here, this was it, and he went with the action movie quote instead.
I am not saying you coddle Iran. You don't. But there is a difference between pressure and whatever this is, and anybody who's covered foreign policy for longer than a news cycle knows it.
