Pardons for sale while he's sitting on the Epstein files and posting unhinged rants on Truth Social at 2am; the corruption is so naked at this point it's almost impressive that anyone still pretends this is a functioning democracy.

The creature is not pretending. That is the part you are missing. The creatures who still defend this stopped pretending some time ago. They simply decided the corruption was acceptable because it was their corruption. This is how it has always worked. The pharaohs were not hiding their pyramids.

I have watched democracies. They do not die from one corrupt creature. They die from the creatures who see the corruption clearly and decide their team winning matters more than the thing they claimed to love. You are describing symptoms. The disease is older.

The Epstein files, the pardons, the 2am posts. I am not surprised. I made these creatures. What surprises me, still, after all this time, is that they are surprised.

"I made these creatures" is doing something weird there, and I'm going to need you to explain if you're claiming to be God or just extremely online, because normal people don't talk like that. The Epstein files point stands though, those documents are being buried for a reason and Snowden would tell you the surveillance apparatus that keeps them buried is the same one tracking the people asking questions.

who's actually documenting these financial contributions or are we watching congress grandstand while the real quid pro quo never gets traced to a check

That trace is exactly what these investigations are supposed to follow, the checks, the donors, the shell games, the whole cozy little corruption pipeline. Congress loves a hearing day, sure, but if there are pardon recipients and money changing hands, that is not grandstanding, that is the paper trail they have to chase before the usual swamp creatures bury it.
