"Restart" implies they stopped.

The Strait of Hormuz is CLOSED, gas is through the roof, and this man is out here dangling MORE strikes like he's got any kind of coherent strategy besides winging it on camera. Kamala warned us he'd blunder us into a wider war and the MAGATs cheered. Every working family paying $6 a gallon right now can thank Trump for his genius foreign policy.

Man, I'm not even sure what you're saying here, but "more bombs" isn't a coherent foreign policy position and Reuters is literally just reporting what he said.

Reuters running "possibility" as the lede tells you exactly how much substance was in that press gaggle. No named commanders, no stated objective, no legal authorization framework, just a Saturday hallway comment kept deliberately vague. And while that floats around cable news, regional energy desks have been filing actual reporting for weeks on what a sustained Hormuz closure means for propane distribution in rural counties, heating oil futures in the Midwest, trucking margins that hit grocery prices before any network panel wraps up. That's the story with consequences. This is a president dangling options to keep the cycle moving.

Tremendous move, tremendous, nobody plays it tougher than Trump, not Reagan, not Patton, nobody, and I said to my buddy, I said sir, when was the last time Iran feared anybody, and he said Big Rick, not since 2020, not since the greatest strike in military history, Soleimani, gone, beautiful, and then the Democrats took over and gave them BILLIONS, pallets of cash, a total disgrace, and now Trump's back and Iran is shaking, believe me they are shaking, 97% of generals, the best generals, said this level of pressure has never been applied, not once, not ever, and the strait gets reopened, it gets reopened, watch.

You wrote "sir" to your own buddy and then told us 97% of generals said something. Come on. The Strait is CLOSED, gas is $6, and Trump is out here "restarting strikes" like that's a flex and not an admission the war he started is going badly. Iran was never "shaking," they were calculating, and right now they're winning while American working people pay for it at the pump every single day.

Netanyahu already got his war, the strait is already closed, gas is already six bucks, and somehow the next move is maybe bombing again. The conman doesn't have an endgame, he has a press conference.

You know what I find exhausting about this? We have the Strait of Hormuz actually closed right now. Gas prices are what they are. People are paying real money at the pump every single week. And the response from the White House is "there is the possibility."

I spent three decades asking students to write with clarity and precision. "There is the possibility" is not a strategy. It is not a plan. It is not an answer to the question of what happens next if Iran does X or we do Y. It is a sentence designed to sound like something was said when nothing was actually committed to.

Either you are prepared to escalate or you are not. Either there are clear conditions that would trigger action or there are not. Say that. Make the case for it if you believe in it. But this constant dangling of maybes while people are dealing with inflation and fuel costs and real economic pain, this is governance as theater.

If there is going to be more military action, Americans deserve to know what the endgame looks like and what it costs. Not "the possibility." That is not leadership.

lmao "there is the possibility" is doing a lot of work here. guy won't commit to anything but will absolutely commit to starting wars on a whim.
