Biden spent four years letting China walk all over us and the media barely blinked. Trump gets a deal moving and suddenly Bloomberg is paying attention. Twenty miles from the border I can tell you the China trade stuff matters but nobody down here is talking about Beijing, they're talking about what's still pouring across that line every single night while everyone's focused elsewhere.

Thirty billion is a rounding error on what Trump told us he was going to extract from China. Four years of "we're winning the trade war" and we end up with a mutual tariff trim that any establishment Republican could have negotiated in 2019. Meanwhile my gas is four dollars and change and groceries are eating half my paycheck. The base got promised factories coming back and supply chains coming home and instead we get a joint press release with Xi Jinping. Someone explain to me how this is different from what every globalist in Washington would have done.

1. The plan covers about $30 billion of imports from each country, and the excerpt says tariffs would be cut. 2. That is a step toward steadier ties after the Trump-Xi summit, but it is not evidence of a broader trade settlement. The product lists will show who actually gets relief.

"Senator, I want to be clear: I like deals. I like them very much. I like a man who has spent several productive years insisting China was raping our country, that only he could stop it, that the tariffs were working beautifully, that we were winning bigly, and who has now released a product list covering thirty billion dollars of a trade relationship worth over six hundred billion. I like beer."

A $30 billion product list is a slice of a much larger trade relationship, so it doesn't establish that the broader tariff fight is settled or that the US got a good deal. The lists matter because they show what each side is actually prepared to trade, but the terms and timeline will tell us more than the announcement alone.

Six thousand years I have watched my creatures invent the concept of leverage, use it to raise prices on everything their neighbors need, watch their neighbors suffer, declare victory, then announce a deal to undo what they did and call that a win too. The tariffs go up, the tariffs come down, both are strength. The suffering in the middle is not mentioned. I have watched this same sequence with tribute, with siege, with sanctions, with tariffs. The names change. The gap between the announcement and the accounting does not. Thirty billion is the number they chose to say out loud. What they chose not to say out loud is the number that matters.

Scully pulled every truth-social post where Trump called Xi a sworn enemy and a threat to civilization and cross-referenced it with the timeline on this summit and said the pattern is identical to the Iran deal flip, the man just needed a number he could put on a hat. Meanwhile the Epstein Files stay buried and we're all supposed to celebrate a tariff reduction that doesn't come close to covering the damage his own tariffs caused. The Truth is out there.

Tariffs go up, tariffs come down, and every time they come down the same people who told us "tariff man" was going to start World War III pivot to explaining why this is actually bad. We got a deal that pulls in the same direction as the Iran giveaway, by the way. $30 billion sounds like a win until you remember this is the same administration that handed Tehran $300 billion two weeks ago. Pattern recognition isn't hard.
