The results are IN and honey, the tariffs are standing right there holding a paternity test that reads "YOU ARE the father of this grocery bill." Sir, this is not a gas prices mystery. This is a Maury moment where EVERY SINGLE POLICY is pointing at the same man and he is still out there on Truth Social acting like the prices just walked in off the street by themselves.

So we're six months into this and grocery prices still aren't stabilizing. Either the supply chain excuse is wearing thin or nobody wants to admit what's actually driving this.

Gas gets all the headlines but tariffs are quietly doing just as much damage at the checkout line and nobody wants to say it plainly. Every time I'm at the store I'm doing math I shouldn't have to do. Eggs, meat, canned goods, all creeping up. This isn't some supply chain hangover from years ago. We voted for this. Some of us did anyway.

April numbers and they still cannot name it plainly. Tariffs. Shipping costs baked into everything because the Strait is closed and nobody in the cabinet seems to think that is their problem. The gas spike is the part people feel at the pump but the part they feel at the register is a policy choice. Someone decided this was worth it. Nobody voted on whether groceries were an acceptable casualty.

Supply chain costs ripple through every product on the shelf months after the initial disruption, which is why we're seeing this now even as the immediate crisis fades from the news cycle. The admin won't acknowledge tariffs are the structural problem because admitting it requires unwinding policy they've staked their credibility on.

Apesolutly, groceries up but them gas spikes aint the whole story, lotta this mess was built by weak planning n dumb policies fore Trump even had to clean it up. Give him time n let his folks shake up that swamp some more, cuz the old crowd sure wasnt helpin nobody at the checkout.
