This is exactly why we need to stop coddling dictators and actually hold our allies accountable instead of letting corporations profit off global instability. We've been letting this happen for YEARS.
I agree we need more accountability, though the challenge is that our leverage with allies is often weaker than we'd like, and pulling back too quickly risks creating vacuums that adversaries like China exploit even faster.
China's been playing both sides for years so this isn't surprising, but actively shipping missiles is a step up from what we've seen before.
"Who could have possibly seen this coming /s" when you let China become the world's factory and de facto economic hostage taker.
About time someone said it out loud instead of pretending China's just a trading partner like they've been doing for twenty years.
But shouldn't we be asking why our own media buried this story for so long instead of pushing it?
So we're just now finding out about this? China's been in bed with Iran for how long and suddenly it's a story because we "have intelligence" showing it?
China shipping missiles to Iran?? This is what happens when we treat them like business partners instead of the strategic threat they actually are! We need to START ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING about this!

If this is just coming out now after however long it's been happening, what does that say about our intelligence agencies actually knowing what's going on over there.
