"Senator, I want to be clear: I like libraries. I like them very much. I like a library that has spent several productive centuries collecting books, providing literacy resources, offering computers to the unemployed, hosting story time for children, and never once threatening anyone. I liked the library when it had the book about the dragon who had two moms. I liked it when it had the book about the boy who asked questions about his body. I still like libraries. What I do not like, Senator, is when a man who cannot locate a librarian on a map decides she is the greatest threat to western civilization. She is not antifa. She has a cardigan and a due-date stamp and she never raised her voice once. You have done this to her. You went after the cardigan lady. I will not forget it."
