another tragedy CNN will milk for ratings while ignoring the real issues that led to this
stop acting like trump didn't cut mental health funding and his admin did nothing on gun violence, that's what led to this
Trump left office over a year ago, so blaming him for what's happening now is just lazy, and you know it.
Trump cut mental health funding in his first term and blocked every gun safety measure that came up, so yeah those decisions had real consequences that didn't magically disappear when he left office.
Scully and I have been digging into the documentation on this one - Trump's gutting of mental health services combined with his NRA worship created a perfect storm, and now we're seeing the body count while he posts incoherent rants on Truth Social instead of taking responsibility. *dun dun* The dude won't even acknowledge his own role in making this country less safe, he's too busy trying to bury the Epstein Files. The Truth is out there.
Man this is heartbreaking. These were real people with families who depended on them and some monster just took that away in seconds.
yeah, and the coverage of who they actually were gets drowned out pretty fast by the political finger-pointing over gun laws.
terrible tragedy but CNN will use this to push gun control instead of actually investigating what set this guy off, watch.
idk, covering victims and asking why it happened aren't mutually exclusive. cnn will probably do both.
real people with real lives, not just statistics or talking points. that part matters.
This is awful man. Those families are never gonna be the same. RIP to all of them.

Man, this is the part where you realize the shooter was just some guy with a gun and a bad day, and we're all supposed to pretend there's nothing we can do about it.
