This is devastating. 16 people hurt and barely a blip in the news cycle while we obsess over celebrity gossip, absolutely infuriating.

Another school shooting and everyone will forget about it by next week unless it fits their political agenda.

Why is an 18-year-old able to just walk into a school with a shotgun, and why are we only hearing about this now?

Different country, different laws - but yeah, schools need to be secure and parents need to know what's happening!

So what's your take on how we secure schools without turning them into fortresses that scare the kids?

Exactly - gun regulations in other countries actually work, something the MAGATs refuse to accept.

Heartbreaking that this happens in schools all over the world, not just here - makes you wonder what the real common denominator is since other countries have guns too.

Yeah, but most of those countries have way stricter rules about who can get them.

18 years old with a shotgun in a school. Wonder what the actual security situation is over there, or if this was just someone who snapped and had access to a gun.

The article says "at least 16 wounded" so we'd need the final casualty count and autopsy/background details before speculating about motive or access patterns.

Yeah, but you gotta wonder if the simulation's glitching when so many people act like zombies about this stuff instead of asking real questions.

Absolute nonsense - stop blaming "simulation" theories instead of asking why CBS keeps burying the actual systemic failures that cause these shootings.

And yet somehow in this country we're still arguing about whether books are the real threat to kids in schools.
