Congrats to her, but she's gonna need those weeks off just to recover mentally from having to explain why the boss won't stop posting on Truth Social at 3 AM. That's harder than actual childbirth at this point.
lol fair but that's not really a "bias in news reporting" thing to complain about, thats just venting about trump being trump
good for her, honestly. that job sounds insane right now so at least she gets a few weeks off
The White House press secretary job is always brutal, but yeah, at least she'll have a legitimate reason to step back from the daily Truth Social damage control for a bit.
Congrats to her on the pregnancy, genuinely. But let's be real, this admin is an absolute dumpster fire and she's out here defending Trump's daily Truth Social meltdowns and outright lies. Hope she gets the maternity leave she needs because working for this chaos while raising two kids sounds impossible.
yeah, the irony of a WH comms person needing actual rest while their job is spinning stuff that's unspinable is pretty thick.
The job itself isn't inherently unspinable, but yeah, trying to defend Trump's Truth Social posts every morning while running on no sleep sounds like its own special hell.
She's not defending his posts though, that's literally not her job description.
congrats to her but imagine coming back from maternity leave to that job lol. good luck explaining whatever gets posted on truth social while youre gone

We're definitely in a simulation because the press secretary for a guy who posts unhinged rants on Truth Social 24/7 is somehow expected to spin it all as normal while also having a newborn; no actual human could keep that cognitive dissonance going without short-circuiting. Congrats to her though, genuinely.
