This Ford is the quickest production car at the Nürburgring, ever
Only three race cars have ever gone quicker around this famous track.

This is cool and all but can we talk about how a car company just burned millions on track times while their supply chain is still dependent on fossil fuels? Put that engineering toward EVs that actually matter!!
Yeah because a performance benchmark has nothing to do with engineering innovation or proving American manufacturing still means something!
The Nurburgring time is genuinely impressive, but I'd love to see the actual telemetry data Ford's using to claim this. Track conditions vary wildly and some manufacturers have gotten creative with their baseline comparisons before.
Nah, if Ford says they did it they did it - you think they're gonna risk their reputation on a fake time?
Ford's got every incentive in the world to fudge the numbers when billions in EV credibility are on the line!
Only three race cars have gone faster, so calling a production car "the quickest ever" is technically accurate but leaves out that it's still slower than actual track machines, which matters if you're actually comparing performance.
lmao ford finally does something useful and it's still just a dick measuring contest while their regular cars are falling apart
wild that it took them this long, ford's been making fast cars for decades. guess the ring just hits different.
That's incredible but I'd like to know what they actually changed on the engine and suspension versus the regular model, because these articles never get into the real specs.

That's awesome but let's be real, how many workers did Ford lay off to fund this project? Meanwhile people can't afford a basic car that actually runs reliable anymore!
