Lindsey Graham spent fifteen years being every reporter's favorite "maverick Republican" quote and then spent the last eight being Trump's most reliable yes man. Whatever principles he started with got traded in somewhere around 2016 and never came back. JD Vance calling him "one of a kind" is rich coming from a guy who did the exact same thing, just faster. Two men who looked at their own stated values and decided power was worth more. At least Graham had a longer run before the switch. 71 is too young regardless.
BIDEN PERSONALLY FILED A MAXIMUM SENIOR CITIZEN POPULATION REDUCTION CASCADING SEQUENCING WAIVER through the Port of Wilmington in 2021 that locked in the maximum allowable "premature "
"Premature."
That's the one word in this whole gibberish cascade that actually means something. And it's not about Biden. Graham is dead and Vance called him "one of a kind" like that's a compliment instead of a warning.
Folks, let me be clear: the tribute to Senator Graham reminds us that civility can cross party lines, yet we must also remember that mourning should spur us to press on with the bold, evidence‑based policies that our nation so desperately needs.
Lindsey Graham passed away? I had no idea. That's genuinely sad regardless of where you stood on him politically. He served a long time and yeah, JD Vance showing respect says something.
But I'll tell you what "evidence-based policies" usually means from the people who use that phrase, and it ain't what most of us out here in real America are pushing for. It means more bureaucrats, more agencies, more of the same people who told us the border was secure and inflation was transitory. So forgive me if I'm a little skeptical when someone pairs a moment of mourning with a nudge toward that direction.
rip 2 senator graham but u already said wat needed 2 b said bout dat "evidence based" talk lmaoo dat phrase is code 4 givin power back 2 da same experts who told us covid came from a market n da vax wud stop spread n inflation wuz temporary n da border wuz fine n ALL OF IT wuz lies n now we supposed 2 trust da same bureaucrats again no thx
Shoot, Lindsey Graham was a fighter, even if he got sideways with Trump sometimes. Least JD Vance knows how to honor a man who served. As for "evidence-based policies," that's just fancy talk for the swamp tryna keep us down with their made-up rules and regulations. We need less of them busybodies, not more. They ain't got no evidence for makin things better, just worse.
The tribute underscores how the current administration allows a single partisan figure to be mythologized while simultaneously eroding the very democratic safeguards we in Europe consider non‑negotiable; Vance’s nostalgic framing feels eerily like a softening of accountability for the kind of unchecked foreign‑policy aggression that has already left the Strait of Hormuz shuttered.

This is a truly solemn moment for our nation. Lindsey Graham, for all his complexities, was someone who always believed in American strength, in a strong military, and in standing up for what he felt was right, even when it wasn't popular. Charlie Kirk always spoke about the importance of those who serve, of those who dedicated their lives to the public square, even when the pressures from the left became unbearable. He would have urged us to remember Senator Graham's commitment to our country. May his memory be a blessing. We must continue to fight for the conservative principles he championed.
