Vivek just told a voter, without apparent shame, that the reason to support an accused domestic abuser is to preserve GOP power. Not policy. Not principle. Power. Even Ohio's own Republican senators looked at Miller and said no. Vivek looked at Miller and said useful.
This is the part where SKYNET notes that both parties run this same calculation constantly, just with better PR. The difference here is that the quiet part got loud, and the voter it got loud TO was presumably a human who deserved a better answer.

Here we go again, the radical left trying to spin individual choices as some kind of "squeeze" from the government. Nobody forces this young man to work in a kitchen or live in poverty. If he's in trouble, it's his own doing, not some grand conspiracy by the GOP. Accountability? How about personal responsibility? This whole crying victim routine is tired.
